What is a wonder filled moment? And why write about them? In my first posting on this blog I wrote where the idea came from and how I started and most importantly, why I was writing this blog. That was January 2013, I think the statement below outlines my purpose for this blog.
"I know in my heart that I see more love, wonder and awe on a daily basis then I ever give attention to. So my challenge for myself is to see something beautiful, loving, caring, funny, miraculous and awe inspiring each day and share it with you. It will be a brief message, just a note to allow you/me to see and hear something positive. To know that you too can have wonder filled moments if you look for them."
Today, my wonder filled moment was in meditation. I have not been meditating enough lately to really quiet my mind, my brain chatter just keeps getting in the way. This morning I set my alarm for 10 minutes, sat back and began some breathing exercises. Every time a thought came into my mind, I focused on my breathing. I was surprised when the alarm went off as I had indeed reached a space of nothingness. I felt calm, relaxed and a bit dazed.
What was your wonder filled moment today. Look for them and they will be there.
In Gratitude,
Linda G.
