Wonder Filled Moments During the Pandemic

I decided it was time to concentrate on all of the good things in life again.  To remind myself to see the positive, and have faith in the possibilities.  Our world is a bit crazy at this moment and in a lot of fear.  We have been dealing with something called the Corona Virus or Covid-19 for a few months now.  We have been told "Social Distancing" will help reduce the spread.  Which means being no closer than 6 feet to another person...  Now we understand that wearing a mask can protect us from breathing in the virus...  Many people are not working and those of us that are, wonder why?  Or at least I do, happy for the money, but not sure I like dealing with visitor's to Sedona on a daily basis.

We've been told a lot!  I'm not always sure what to believe at this point.  But here is what I do know:

I know I am safe in this moment.
I know I am loved on many different levels.
I know I am healthy and all of my needs are met.
I know the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day.
I know I still have a sense of humor.

Yesterday I went to the grocery store, the first time in 2 or 3 weeks.  It was very weird!  There were taped arrows on the floor telling me which way I could go down the aisle.  Which means if you miss something at the beginning of the aisle you must go to the next aisle, walk down it go around the end and then back to where what you missed the item.

Phew . . . What a pain, right!  But they had everything I need this time. :-)

So I come upon this man searching the shelf for something in particular.  I waited silently, at a distance.  I had my mask on, he had his on.  Finally, I asked if he minded if I passed behind him.  Without looking up, he said with humor in his voice, "Sure, I won't charge you a toll this time!"  I laughed and thanked him.

In that moment we both knew how weird this all is and we were still able to see the humor in what is now becoming the ordinary.  (I sure hope it doesn't become ordinary to shop like that!)

Look for and enjoy those Wonder Filled Moments in your life and please share them in the comments section.  We're in this together so let's make the best of it.

In Gratitude,
Linda G
