As you may or may not know, Hunny is a tour guide taking people to Hopi, the Grand Canyon and various other places. Last Saturday, there was an open seat so I decided to go on tour with him. While the folks were having lunch we took our lunch out to the rim and enjoyed the views. I must say, I learn something new every time I go on tour with Hunny, he has loads of information to share.
I am always in awe when I go to the Grand Canyon. I can still remember my first visit, when the only word I could think of was "surreal." It is an amazing place, quite magical. Watching the sun play on the rocks, imagining the river 5000 feet below the rim, knowing that people hike in and out of there almost every day! Then I got lost watching the Ravens and other birds play with the drop off the canyon edge. Once again I did take some beautiful pictures, however, I have been unable to figure out how to get them onto my computer in a format that I can use here. So, imagine the sun playing on the red rocks of the canyon as the birds soar below you.
