Let them know you care.

Yesterday was a very stressful day for me.  Kitty Chula had a Vet appointment and the Vet was not happy with the healing progress.  I was very distraught when I got home and I just wanted to curl up and cry.  I told Hunny what the Vet said, I let Chula out of her carrying case and I went straight to the bedroom.

In moments Hunny came in and asked if he could do anything, get me a glass of water or a cool wet wash cloth for my forehead.  I nodded and he brought me both.  He remembered how I brought a cool wash cloth to him when he was sick so he thought maybe it would help.  It did!  The fact that I have someone who cares that much for me that he wanted to ease my pain a bit, made me feel better immediately.  I was also reminded that I do not have to go through it alone.  (It’s hard to ask for help, so when you see someone hurting let them know you care.)  Thanks Hunny for giving me my Wonder Filled Moment of the Day.
In Gratitude,
Linda G

PS:  Chula will be okay.  The Vet says tails are the hardest to heal and with Chula it’s just going to take more time.  They increased her antibiotics as the half dose she was receiving isn’t doing what it needs to and we will see the Vet again next week.
