Storm building over red rock country. |
Yesterday, late afternoon, I was reading my book when I heard a loud crackle in the clouds outside. I finished the page, put down the book and headed for the studio (Arizona Room) and opened all the blinds. I poured a glass of ice tea and got comfortable to watch the storm. I immediately realized it was too warm in the Studio and moved to the office. In this room the windows face Coffee Pot and Thunder Mountain, beautiful rock formations in Sedona, AZ(a much better view.) Here I watched the rain come pouring down for a few minutes. Once it stopped raining I continued to watch the grey clouds and lightening strikes over Thunder Mountain. I do love the monsoon rains in Northern Arizona. There have been times when I would go out and dance in the rain, but on this day, it was a quick hard rain and then it was done. Experiencing the monsoons were my Wonder Filled Moments.
In Gratitude,
Linda G
