Friends/family

Yesterday I was blessed to talk to two of my dear friends.  One lives in North Dakota the other in Louisiana.  I am sure it has been at least 6 months since we had spoken.  I imagine it’s just a part of having a full busy life and yet how wonderful to know that when you reconnect with a dear old friend, it is truly like picking up where you left off.  It was such a joy to hear my young friend is newly in love.  My other friend just accepted a new position and is excited about the possibilities that come with a new job.  In my adult life I have found my friends to be my chosen family.  I also have the family I was born into, and I love them all dearly.  The chosen families are the ones that we have the most in common with and the least amount of judgment about.  I believe we all have many families, and my Wonder Filled Moment was having a conversation with two of my sisters.  Blessing to all and may you too see the families in your life that are born out of similar interests and locations, and love.
