Winter Sun

I’ve been noticing the difference in the sun this winter.  How the light outdoors is softer than other times of the year.   When I was driving across the valley yesterday I was even more aware of the lighting, how it plays on the mountains, trees and bushes.  I live in Northern Arizona, in the high desert at about 4500 feet above sea level, so we do not get the frigid cold of other parts of the country.  Normally the sun is quite bright and glaring here, so as an artist it is fun to see the difference the season makes on the effects of the sun. Go out for a minute check out the sun, see what you see.
The picture was taken when I was out in the desert the other day enjoying the warmth of the winter sun (it was near 60 degrees that day.)
