No Coffee or Chocolate!








A beautifully awesome day, one where I could share many wonder filled moments.  In addition to having friends stop over for a fun game of croquet, I had a realization I would like to share.  When I was sick last week I stopped drinking coffee and had no desire for chocolate, and I love chocolate.  I replaced the coffee with herbal teas that helped me to breathe better and to heal from the cold.  After 10 days without either coffee or chocolate I realize my body is not in as much pain and I do not feel quite as stiff as I did before.  The only change, besides sleeping for three days, is no coffee or chocolate.  Talking to a friend, who is a nurse, I found that both coffee and chocolate can restrict your blood capillaries causing tightness and pain.   There are many teas I can substitute for coffee, but I’m not sure what I can substitute for chocolate.  I may try small amounts occasionally and see what happens, but at least for now, no chocolate or coffee.  Any suggestions for a substitute for chocolate?  My wonder filled moment, no pain.
