Stupa and Croquet

After working this morning Hunny and I decided to go for a prayerful walk.  We went to the Amitabha Stupa in Sedona Arizona.  We began saying our prayers silently as we walked the path to the Stupa sprinkling Huma(a Hopi corn meal used for blessings) along the way.  Once at the Stupa we stood in front of it, observed it, said our prayers, made an offering and began walking our circles around it.  Chanting silently or praying in whatever way feels right to us.  We then walked up the hill and found a quiet shaded spot in one of the washes.  It had a natural stone bench for us to sit on and meditate. The cool rock quieted our bodies and our minds allowing me to connect to Mother Earth and to the Universe.  I love getting to that space where your body straightens out because of your connection to both of these loving energies.

When we returned home we both felt energized and not ready to be still.  So what do you do on a beautiful sunny afternoon with the perfect temperature in the high 60’s?  Why you go out into the back yard and play Croquet!  The laughter and giggles while soaking in the sun! What else can you ask for!  Ha, ha, ha.

My day was full of Wonder Filled Moments, these were my top two.
In Gratitude,
Linda G
