Voice of the Rapids

I close my eyes and listen to the sounds of the creek.  I take a deep breath and smell the musky aroma of the creek.  Opening my eyes I look around at the leaves on the branches dancing above the water.  I become mesmerized by the rapids.  Watching the water flow around and over rock formations, crashing and splashing on its path, breaking into water particles and flying into the air backwards away from the rock that was just hit, causing beautiful white bubbles of water mixed with air.  It’s amazing to watch how the water will build up into a thousand bubbles who appear to be running up stream.  As the bubbles reach their maximum water load in a split second they create a wave of water and flow straight over the rock and move on down the stream.

Watching these little rapids it dawned on me that this could be a metaphor for life.  At times there are bl/rocks in our way and we feel like we are making no progress.  Take a deep breath and look with new eyes, is there a way around the block?  Or are we building momentum so that we too can flow right over what ever is in our way.  My Wonder Filled Moment of the day was being in nature and hearing it speak about life. Below is a 2 minute video of those little rapids that spoke to me this day.
