Whisked Away

Arizona summers can be a bit brutal at times.  June seems to be the hottest and driest month of the year with temperatures ranging from the 110’s in the low desert to the mid 90’s in the high desert.  Sedona where I live is considered the high desert so it’s been averaging low to mid 90’s over the past week with one digit humidity levels.   As you may know I’ve been spending a great deal of time with my kitty, so Hunny decided it was time to whisk me away for the day.  A trip to Flagstaff Arizona where it was a beautiful 80 degrees was a pleasant break.  One of our favorite stops in Flagstaff is “Bookmans” a used book store.  We found three of our favorite dvd movies and one cd that needed replacing.  To our surprise, two customers each day receive their purchases for free.  We were one those customers.  So Hunny immediately said, “My wonder filled moment of the day was receiving our movies and music for free!”  I have to agree that was definitely one of my favorites as well.  For me it was the entire day.  We leisurely shopped at the stores that we liked, had a splendid lunch and walked around the busy downtown area.  My Wonder Filled Moments were simply hanging with Hunny, holding hands and walking around town.  In Gratitude,Linda G
