Happy Video

I suggest this "happy" video!!! Sent to me by a friend.  Turn up your volume and enjoy.  When I witness something like this I am filled with positive emotion.  Receiving this little video was my Wonder Filled Moment of the day.  Matt is from Seattle but traveled the world for the making of this video.

Bowl of Light

In 2003, I attended The Prophets Conference in Sedona Arizona.  At that conference I was blown away by many a speaker, Greg Braden, David Carlson, Alex Grey, and the list goes on, but the one who touched me the most was Hank Wesselman.  When I shook his hand and thanked him for the amazing journey’s his presentation had taken me on, I looked him in the eye and said, “We will meet again.  I look forward to studying with you.”  I read his first three books, The Spirit Walker Trilogy, one after another, wanting to know what would happen, and then, I forgot.  I did not read any more of his works and I did not look into his school of Shamanism that I was so sure I would attend.  I simply went on with what was in front of me at the time.

Tonight, one of my Munay-Ki students brought me a gift.  It was wrapped in beautiful old style, possibly handmade, flowered paper, with twine around it.  She gave it to me and told me to open it later when I was quiet.  When I sat to open it I was sure it was a book.  I took off the rope and unfolded the paper, and as I unfolded it, I saw the author’s name, “Hank Wesselman.”  In that moment, I caught my breath and a tear appeared in my eye and I flashed on those experiences in the fall of 2003, almost 10 years ago.  All I could think was, how did she know?  And I took a few deep breaths.  The book is a new one by Hank Wessselman, The Bowl Of Light, published in 2011.

WOW!  How interesting, I am so excited to read this book and see what messages it has for me.  My Wonder Filled Moment was opening a beautiful package and receiving this heart felt gift.

In Gratitude,

A Hoot of a Time

Lisa and I went to the Desert Flour Bakery for lunch today and had a hoot of a time.  We sat at our “usual” corner table (this was only our second or third time there) and visited.  I can’t tell you what we talked about because all I recall is the laughter.  At one point the waitress said we were having too much fun, she wanted to join us.  We understood why and continued to laugh.  My Wonder Filled Moment was having a jolly lunch with Lovely Lisa.  The food was great as well and I would recommend Desert Flour for a great lunch and don't forget to laugh, it does a body good.
