Bowl of Light

In 2003, I attended The Prophets Conference in Sedona Arizona.  At that conference I was blown away by many a speaker, Greg Braden, David Carlson, Alex Grey, and the list goes on, but the one who touched me the most was Hank Wesselman.  When I shook his hand and thanked him for the amazing journey’s his presentation had taken me on, I looked him in the eye and said, “We will meet again.  I look forward to studying with you.”  I read his first three books, The Spirit Walker Trilogy, one after another, wanting to know what would happen, and then, I forgot.  I did not read any more of his works and I did not look into his school of Shamanism that I was so sure I would attend.  I simply went on with what was in front of me at the time.

Tonight, one of my Munay-Ki students brought me a gift.  It was wrapped in beautiful old style, possibly handmade, flowered paper, with twine around it.  She gave it to me and told me to open it later when I was quiet.  When I sat to open it I was sure it was a book.  I took off the rope and unfolded the paper, and as I unfolded it, I saw the author’s name, “Hank Wesselman.”  In that moment, I caught my breath and a tear appeared in my eye and I flashed on those experiences in the fall of 2003, almost 10 years ago.  All I could think was, how did she know?  And I took a few deep breaths.  The book is a new one by Hank Wessselman, The Bowl Of Light, published in 2011.

WOW!  How interesting, I am so excited to read this book and see what messages it has for me.  My Wonder Filled Moment was opening a beautiful package and receiving this heart felt gift.

In Gratitude,
Linda G
