I
enjoyed the kitchen store story so much that I was telling my Munay-Ki class
about it last night. What was so amazing
about telling this story again is that it continued into the next day. At work an elderly man came in to the Jewelry
Show. Lisa and I greeted him and he said “I know you
two, you behaved horribly yesterday at that store.” We were quite stunned. Yet very clear that we were in our Joy, Lisa
mentioned we were being spiritual by sharing our joy. That man was not in a happy space, he was in
judgment about what we did, yet I thought we handled it beautifully. How many people do you know that could/would
wait an hour while the clerk got the register working? I shared this with my class as a reminder of
the importance of separating other people’s emotions and feelings from your
own. Waiting could have bummed us out,
the man judging us could have bummed us out, but we stayed in our power and our
joy. Re-visiting the occasion brought us
laughter once again. I share this as my “Wonder Filled Moment”
as a reminder to all of us to hold strong and follow your bliss, no matter
what others might think.
